Another question regarding cross stitch fabric?
When the pattern says 1 on 25ct — what does that mean. Also where is a good place to purchase linen or evenweave?

Two possibilities: either use 1 strand of floss (which will look thin when stitching over two; imagine using 1 strand when stitching on 14 ct, see what I mean?) or more likely, use 1 strand but stitch over one. Are you by any chance starting a HAED design?
You can get packaged linen and evenweave at the chain craft stores like Michaels (maybe JoAnn too). If you need different sizes, count or color, you’ll either need to visit a true needlework store (preferably one that specializes in counted cross stitch, as shops that specialize in needlepoint will carry canvas, not linen) or go online. Sources include Nordic Needle (www.nordicneedle.com) and Herrschners (www.herrschners.com). Now, for a truly unique experience, try using a hand-dyed fabric, such as you can buy from Silkweaver (www.silkweaver.com) among others.
