How to Frame a Cross-Stitch Pattern
Posted in Instructional Videos on 01/13/2009 03:22 am by adminWhere can i find some cheap counted cross stitch pattern kits which i can frame ?
I loooke in michael’s but it was a bit expensive for my budget , i need big ones to hang on my living room walls. Can i find ssuch kits in walmart too? Any other home decorating ideas (affordable)
Our Wal-Mart has them in the yardage/hobby section. If you can’t afford large ones, get several small ones and group them together.
If you want BIG just buy a piece of plywood the size you want, cover it with quilting batting and then cover it over with fabric that you staple in the back. Pull it fairly tight before you staple and miter the corners so they are smooth. If you use real plywood, primer or paint it first to seal it and be sure it’s thick enough that it won’t warp. You can do several of these in the same material or each one different but coordinating colors and hang them in groups.
